Arrest in Channahon gun incident at Why Not Hideaway Lounge
Glendel W. Edwards of Morris was arrested after a 9 15 p m fight in front of a Chan nahon lounge when he fired a gun into the air. Lawrence Mervar of Dresden Acres reportedly took a gun from his car and fled toward the Morris area. Edwards charged with discharging a gun within city limits and illegal liquor possession. He posted 25 dollar bond and will appear in Will County Joliet May 18. Police seek Mervar his wife and an unidentified man.
