In Yorkville, search efforts resume for Noel Sorensen, 26, of West Chicago, after the canoe he rode capsized near the Palmer Dam around 8 a.m. Saturday. Richard Savino, 19, also of West Chicago, drowned. his body was recovered by the Ottawa Rescue Squad and Bristol Kendall Fire Department near noon.

State files suit to condemn land for Illinois 47 project
