Body Believed Drowned Near Wilmington Dam Tracked By Watch
Fire Chief Chester Moberly said a watch will be kept for seven to eight days along the Kankakee River to recover 16 year old Michael Orr of Flossmoor who vanished after riding a small raft over a dam near Wilmington. Two other Flossmoor youths were rescued, Scott Kirk and Dave Kamis, with Kirk later reported in satisfactory condition at St. Joseph Hospital Joliet.

At a Saturday seminar sponsored by Northern Illinois Gas Co. experts forecast 85 percent of housing will be factory built over the next decade and foresee major changes in mobile homes and parks by 1980. State Senator Karl Benning discussed proposed county privilege taxes on mobile homes and urged state action to avert a federal housing crisis. The event drew more than 200 people including Grundy County officials and planners.

Separate accident on I 55 near 47 left a Chicago woman and a Gary Indiana resident in fair condition with two other occupants released from Joliet hospital.

Larry Brock of Gardner won Best of Show March 6 at the national decoy art contest in Babylon New York sponsored by the National Wildfowler Association. His piece Morning at the Lodge a 20 by 26 inch still life acrylic, features a decoy shells and an antique clock on a mantel with a painted shadow that fooled judges. Brock a fifth grade teacher could not attend the show, but Tin Hooker carried two works to New York where crowds were kept at a distance from the canvases.
