The Morris Elementary Board of Education adopted a resolution calling a special election on April 9 in District 54 to issue 1.4 million dollars in bonds for two new schools and an addition to Garfield School. vandals break store window at Redfern's Hardware
Two concrete pieces were hurled through the front plate glass of Redfern's Hardware and Appliance Co. at 214 Liberty St. Police found the damage at 5:55 a.m. on Wednesday night. A large hole was made in the north display window and an electric stove behind it was damaged. Glass shattered throughout the interior.
