Grundy County Approves Health Department Funding

Grundy County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution to finance the new county health department with a supplemental general fund appropriation of 16000 to run through November. First Stage of County Plan Ends

Grundy County Planning Commission completed the first stage of its zoning ordinance program after final changes by planning consultant Joseph Abel and board members. Public hearings will shape substantial changes and possible eliminations before presenting to the county board in August for authorization to proceed. The second stage requires appointing a zoning commission and renewing or replacing the Gardner consulting contract.
