Pilot injured in Morris Airport crash in Skokie instructor hurt
Gerald W. Lee 38, an instructor from Chicago, sustained forehead lacerations and other injuries when a plane he was demonstrating emergency procedures for student Ronald Benjamin 32, of Chicago, lost engine power and crashed near the Morris Airport. Benjamin was released after examination. FAA investigators will continue the probe as the aircraft was moved to a hangar. In a separate note, Donald Frisco, 29, an escapee from Stateville Prison, was captured by Crest Hill police after fleeing on Monday.
