Morris Community High School Plans 1966 Graduation Events
Morris Community High School holds a baccalaureate service Sunday at 8 p.m. in the MCHS gym and commencement Monday at 8 p.m. in the same gym. The Morris Ministerial Association sponsors the event with First Methodist Church arranging. Dr. Dale Baughman delivers the address, Ted Morgan presents honors, Nancy Dyson is valedictorian, and diplomas are given by MCHS Board President Henry Smith.

Baughman Chosen Speaker for Morris Community High Graduation
Dr. Dale Baughman associate professor of education at the University of Illinois will speak at the Morris Community High School graduation on June 13, 1966. He leads administrative placement at UI, teaches graduate school administration courses, and advises Illinois junior high associations. He has taught at six universities, traveled widely, and authored books, monographs, and articles on junior high education.

Fire crews responded to a residence west of Mazon Saturday noon to find a shed burning next to the house. The shed was destroyed and smoke and water damage reached the kitchen area. The farm is owned by Mrs. G C Misener and is insured.
