Gardner man dies in one car crash on Gard ner Road
A 26 year old Gardner resident, Jerry L. Walker, died in a one car accident on Gard ner Road three miles east of Illinois 47 at 6 55 pm Wednesday. He was thrown from the 1969 GTO and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred after he lost control on oil or grease at an intersection with an unmarked farm road, sending the car into a ditch and creek. Walker, born November 24 1944 in Morris, was married to Darlene Mount and survived by his wife two sons his parents two brothers and a sister. Funeral arrangements are pending at Davis Funeral Home in Morris.
