Four Injured In City Accidents Over Holiday Weekend
Four people were injured in separate city crashes over the holiday weekend. In the first, Brian Delrose and Michael Struck, both teens, were treated at Morris Hospital after a Sunday 12:40 p.m. collision at E Chapin and Price. Struck was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions and faces a June 17 court date after posting a $25 bond. State Police report a westbound semi driven by John Fagg 41 Joliet sideswiped a parked bus off the shoulder four miles east of Morris on Interstate 80. No injuries were reported. The bus is owned by Rapid Bus Co Chicago. Bus driver’s name was not released.

Ten Pigs Stolen From Bernard McGuan Farm
Mrs. McGuan reported to Grundy County Sheriff at 4 15 p m that ten pigs valued at 200 dollars were taken from a barn on Verona Road south of DuPont Road. Deputy Thomas Walker said the animals weighed 35 to 40 pounds and were taken between 10 30 p m Sunday and 4 p m Monday. nine pigs remained inside the barn and the hogs are black with white stripes.
