No Trial in View in Fatal Interstate 80 Crash
A 41 year old Washington DC mother of three, Alice Casimer Ziarko, died Saturday evening when the car she rode as a passenger left Interstate 80 and rolled over near Illinois 47. Her husband, the driver, was listed in fair condition. Deputy Pierce reported the car veered on a curve, rolled into a ditch, and the children aged 8, 4 and 11 were uninjured. Funeral plans pending due to Ziarko’s condition. She is Grundy County’s seventh traffic fatality this year.

Aurora Engineer Dies After Heart Attack on Illinois Route 47
Bruce B. Genis, 51, of Aurora, suffered a fatal heart attack Sunday night while driving home with his family on Illinois 47 near Morris Airport. He was pronounced dead at Morris Hospital. Genis worked as a mechanical engineer at Richard Wilcox Manufacturing Co. He was a past master and secretary of the Jerusalem Temple Lodge 90 A F and A M. An inquest will be held later. his body was moved to Dieterle Memorial Home in Aurora.

Morris Pool Attendance Soars in July 1965
Morris municipal pool manager Steve Benz reports attendance well ahead of 1965 totals with 16,679 visitors in seven days left in July. Through the 24th total yearly attendance is 29,317, about six thousand shy of last year’s 35,709. During July 17 to 23 week 3,826 visitors paid admission and 575 came on Sunday.
