Driver survives U S 6 crash near Evergreens
Arthur M. Phillips 29 of Joliet was freed after 45 minutes of firemen work when his 1967 Ford Tudor crashed on U S 6 three-fourths mile east of the Evergreens subdivision and wrapped around a telephone pole. He is in fair condition at Morris Hospital with head injuries. Sheriff's deputies investigate and a second car is suspected.
