Lindsay Johnson differ on transit settlement inflation claim

Federal Paper announces improvements at Morris plant

Federal Paper Board Company confirms a major expansion at Morris Paper Mills including a rebuilt 120 inch cylinder board machine with clay coating and a new high speed gravure press at the carton plant. The Illinois facility is one of 22 Federal mills, with production planned for late this year and cost undisclosed.

Gunman Slain in California Tipped Off Police on Plot

Beverly Hills authorities said one of two gunmen killed in the attempted kidnapping of Leonard K. Firestone was an informant who alerted police. George Scalla, 28, had gone to the LAPD claiming his partner would kill him, and officers used the tip to trap the plan. J and L awards Putnam County grading contract
