County Board Approves Sanitarian Training for Dr. Curry
Grundy County Board of Supervisors, in a 11-4 vote, approved an agreement with DuPage County Health for sanitarian training for Dr. Hilton Curry. Curry, Grundy’s veterinarian, will work for Grundy and Kendall counties for two years after licensure, with costs shared 25 percent each by the two counties and 50 percent by the state. He will remain as veterinarian during schooling. A plan to create an investigator position for the state's attorney was referred back to the committee for report.

Man Fined in Airport Theft Case In Joliet
A Joliet man, Andrew J. Panepinto, 26, was bound over to the grand jury on theft charges and pled guilty to an amended count. He was fined 400 plus costs and ordered to restitution of 377 to Jack Lewis of Morris. items taken from a hangar at Morris Airport were mostly recovered, with three exceptions.
