Driver escapes injury after truck plummets from Joliet bridge
A 30 year old driver from Des Moines narrowly survived when a semi towing dams plunged 60 feet from the Des Plaines River bridge in Joliet. Five vehicles in the I 80 pile up sustained minor damage and injuries. A second ice related incident involved a trooper and pedestrian. All injured were treated at Silver Cross Hospital.
