Braceville man found dead in car from carbon monoxide
A 38 year old Braceville resident Carl R Whitey Wilson was found dead in his car Sunday morning on County Line Road just south of Illinois 129. Police say the vehicle ran in a snow filled ditch and exhaust gases could not escape due to snow and a trunk floor hole. Wilson, born June 30 1935 in Olney Indiana, lived in Braceville 23 years. He was married to Janet Olroyd and survived by two daughters, his mother, father and sister. Burial is Braceville Gardner Cemetery after funeral at Patterson Funeral Home. Visitation scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday before services.
