Channahon Board Reviews Annexation Ordinance
Channahon Village Board continued discussion on an annexation ordinance during a Monday meeting. The ambulance fund received a $1,000 donation. The suit from Channahon Grade School Board against the developer was dismissed after Rolling Acres Subdivision paid more than $8,800 to Minooka High School and over $24,000 to the Channahon Grade School. President Stephen Ritter noted the suit arose from a dispute over the annexation agreement allowing land or cash donations. Interviews for the new police chief are set for Dec. 14 with about 14 applications received.
