Yogurt Cucumber Salad
Slice a cucumber thin and mix with sugar vinegar and salt in a wide dish. Let stand an hour then drain lightly. Fold in plain yogurt. Makes four servings.
Ham and Cheese Spread for Crackers
A simple ham and cheddar spread combines lean baked ham, cheddar, mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish and mustard. Mix in a bowl, store refrigerated, and use as a sandwich filling yielding about two cups. Rinse pans with hot water after greasy or sugary cooking and cool before washing to prevent warping.
