Armour to Build $18.5 Million Fatty Amine Plant Near Morris
Armour Industrial Chemicals approved an 18.5 million dollar plant near Morris Illinois on a 26 acre site east of the Illinois River. The project will double US amine capacity, integrate with the McCook plant, and export much of its output. Construction will employ 200 to 300 during peak, with 60 permanent workers, and targets startup in late 1973.

Inquest Rules Morris Teens Died From Auto Crash Injuries
A Grundy County coroner jury ruled that Morris youths John Osmundson and Roger Roth died from injuries suffered in a Oct 31 car crash. Osmundson and Roth, both 18, were thrown from the vehicle and died of shock brain damage and internal injuries.

The Seneca Township High School Marching Band of 90 players with 30 pom pom girls and color guard has been invited by Mayor Richard Daley to join the Chicago Santa Claus Parade.
