Car Crash On I 55 Injures Three In Richmond Area
A car crash on Interstate 55 two miles north of Gardner injures K Young Choi 26 his wife 24 and their one year old child Bambi all treated and released from Morris Hospital after the vehicle struck a guard rail. Another crash on Illinois 53 near Houston Road injures Phillip Bates 15 and John Corneglio 17 with Bates treated for jaw and shoulder injuries and Corneglio for a shoulder injury. No tickets were issued in either incident.

Youth Dies After Motorcycle Crash Near Morris
John McCumsey fourteen of Route 5 died at Silver Cross Hospital Joliet from injuries in a collision with a dump truck on old Illinois 47 and Pine Bluff Road August ninth. The truck driven by William Gunnerson eighteen of Route 1 Canal Street Newark rolled through a stop sign. McCumsey was in intensive care from the day of the crash and died Tuesday at 1 10 p.m. Funeral services set for Bethlehem Lutheran Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may go to Lutherdale Bible Camp.

Contestants register by calling Thomas Walker at 736 6123 votes cost one cent per vote with voting boxes in local businesses through September 1. The queen is announced on Labor Day September 3 and proceeds fund the parade.
