Grundy County Zoning Board of Appeals rejected rezoning by Kenneth and Mrs. Benson for a six mobile home trailer park in Old Mazon while approving an amendment allowing two family detached dwellings in pre 1969 agriculture zones. Braidwood youth drowns at Wilmington Recreation Club
Richard J. Kuchar Jr. 20 of Braidwood drowned while swimming at the Wilmington Recreation Club. He was last seen diving from a raft around 6 p.m. and recovered at 8:50 p.m. The death was ruled at the scene by the Will County coroner. He lived in Braidwood 16 years and attended Reed-Custer High School. Funeral services will be held at Patterson Funeral Chapel and Immaculate Conception Church.
