Showers could delay bridge repairs in Morris Illinois River
Weather could push back repairs on the Illinois River bridge as the second day of a one lane closure slows traffic in Morris. Rain and storms may delay surfacing and ramp work while DOT still expects completion by August 25. Police urge not to block intersections as motorists report long delays and flagmen adjust flow with 30 to 45 minute waits.
