Voters Reject Morris Grade School Bond Issue
Morris residents rejected a 1.4 million bond proposal by 790 to 520 overall. Precinct one at Franklin School showed 734 to 419 against, while south of the Illinois River the bond carried 101 to 56. Superintendent Kenneth Hammer called the turnout the largest he recalls. The board meets at Franklin School Wednesday afternoon.

Hooper Case Again Delayed to Friday in Illinois
