Miller church held its annual homecoming on Sunday September 20 with a basket dinner on the lawn. Represented towns included Harvard Seymour Promise City Centerville Bloomfield Ottumwa Pleasant Valley Albia Oskaloosa Knoxville Moravia. A varied afternoon program featured congregational singing led by Percy Hughes and performances by Barbara Mary Beverly Strunk Mrs Bob Strunk Patty and Joni Caster Rev Roscoe Morrison Rev and Mrs Russell Swift Wilbur Miller Freeman Johnson and a local quartet.
Daughter Mrs. Richard Ritter along with family and Janiece spent the weekend at the Russell and Roy Tubaugh homes in Belle Plaine.
