Mrs. Theo Miller and Nancy Roblenz attended a United Nations Seminar in Fairfield on Sunday. The Houser family visited Estel Houser. Clair McDanel from Camanche stayed with Ernest Hiatt. Hiatts hosted Sunday supper. Argo family traveled to Ottumwa Saturday. Bob Houser’s family visited Herb Boblenz on Thursday. Guy Argo and family dined with Vess Hiatt Sunday. Theo Miller and Bert Meadows hosts Saturday night. Richard Miller of Batavia called on W. C. Anderson Monday. Linda Ward spent Friday with Nancy Roblenz and they traveled to Chariton on Saturday.
Mr and Mrs Clair McDanel and family visited Saturday and Sunday at Cyril McDanel home with Mr and Mrs Carl VanZante. Mark and Charles visited the Carol Brees home near Albia Sunday afternoon. Ben Jones and family were Sunday dinner guests of Harry Woodward. John VanZante called on Ray McCloud Sunday afternoon. Circle meets Thursday afternoon with Eva VanZante. Mrs Ralph Shelquist helped sew at Monroe county hospital Friday afternoon.
Udell by Mrs B B Spring and Mrs Gurnie Jordan of Woodhull Ohio visited Mrs Martha Glasgow for a vacation and to see relatives. Gloria Spring spent a night with parental grandparents. Relatives report the death of Harold Wright eight at the Pleasant Valley vicinity. He died suddenly after returning from play, survived by his parents seven brothers and a sister. Funeral at Pleasant Valley Baptist church with burial at Fairview. Others notes include visits and a local injury from a truck door at Koehler home.
Tax sale notice records that in December 1957 the County Treasurer of Appanoose County Iowa sold Part of Lot 8 Block 13 in Myatic Second Addition to Apanoose County for delinquent taxes for 1984 1955 and related years with a certificate of purchase issued to the county The right of redemption ends after ninety days if not redeemed and a deed will be made.
The document states service completion dated October 18 1658 at Centerville Town with Verl K Farnsworth County Auditor listed as the official.
Tax sale notice for Appanoose County Iowa states that the property in Mystic Iowa was sold for delinquent taxes for years 1964 and 1956 with a certificate of purchase issued to Appanoose County and held by the county treasurer. The sale occurred on the first Monday of December 1967 and was publicly held.
