Carl Wetterlind died Saturday September 16 in Deer River Minnesota where he had lived with his sister. He was born June 21 1895 in Red Oak to Gustaf and Wilhelmina Wetterlind and married Dora F Frank in 1916 who died in 1957. He retired as a foreman from Vernon Company Newton. Surviving are daughter Mrs. Faye Allen of San Francisco brother Ernest Red Oak sister Mrs. George Hawes Deep River Minnesota.
Rebecca Jane Luckett Crouch born July 6 1869 near Troy Missouri died October 13 1961 at St Joseph hospital Centerville at age 92. Married James W Luckett on September 26 1888 nine children born. Lived near Troy and Elsberry before residing with Henry and Rosa Rosencrants near Moravia since 1929. Attended Methodist church. preceded in death by her parents and husband.
James Luckett died February 4 1917 leaving Walter and Mrs Edith Holcomb as children. Survived by six daughters including Mrs Colbert Creech of Troy Missouri and Mrs Blanche Rosencrants, one son Dalton Luckett West of Des Moines and sister Mrs Nancy Wailer of Winfield. Grandchildren number 25 with nieces nephews and relatives. Lived 30 years with daughter Blanche and Henry, health declined four years, last year in nursing home and hospital. Funeral at Turner Funeral Home with burial at Briscol Friday.
