The Ladies Farm Bureau in Walnut Township District No 8 met at Mrs Ira Boyers home on Wednesday September 24 for a Home Management follow up. Eight ladies attended the lesson Goats in Home Making led by Ira Boyer the district leader. The first lesson was held at Centerville September 8 12 by Migs Fanny Gannon a specialist from Ames. The second session will be Home Ground improvement led by Mr Davis of Ames in late October. Mrs J W Foland of Peru Wales visiting at the home of her daughter Mrs A B Jordan in Moravia.

Krazy Ike Opens Way For Oskaloosa Industry
Ten years after a wooden pivots doll inspired Krazy Ike, the Main Toy company grew from a home project in Oskaloosa to mass production. Krazy Ike dolls, named by Phillis Main, spread worldwide as Knapp Electric bought the venture in 1930 and 65 workers assemble 3,000 sets daily as Woolworths stocked them. Grandson of the inventor, O. E. Main, carries the local legacy.

Two Sun days Schools in Teonium will join at the Methodist Church for a 11 a.m. sermon by Rev J W Zerbe and a basket dinner in the basement.
