New Cortin Like Compound Reported by Mayo Clinic
At the American Chemical Society meeting in Pittsburgh a crystalline compound resembling cortin was isolated by Mayo Brothers clinic researchers in Rochester. It may illuminate cortin action and could aid arthritis patients with a drug showing relief of pain swelling and fever in Jersey City patients. A second item notes fig tree latex as a potential anthelmintic and a new virus that destroys bacteria, while other papers discuss diet and brain health potential from biochemical advances.
