Community Bazaar And Play Highlight Local Weekend

The Methodist Indies held their annual bazaar with an oyster supper at the M E Church Saturday evening serving fresh oysters fries and stews. A large crowd gathered despite rough roads. The Shanghai school presented a play at the Christian Church at eight o'clock with an enjoyable interlude by Leslie Breese on accordion.

Fred Rea and O. G. Davis butchered two hogs Monday afternoon at the N. G. Wilson home. Zell Wilson and wife visited Eph Wilson over the weekend. Sawers last week included Aaron Campbell, John Knight, Loren Alden and L. D. Strunk. Mrs. Grande Paris helped Mrs. Ray Coltrain with pears. Merle Weatherly attended the Alicia Teachers meeting on Thursday and Friday.

Hiattsville Community Notes Report Busy Weekend Visits

Hiattsville district residents share a flurry of family visits and travels. W. H. Callen went to St. Louis with stock, N. W. Chambers spent weeks with his daughter Mrs. L. R. Matt, Eva B. Hellyer visited relatives, and numerous Hiatt families gathered at various homes over the weekend.
