Earl Brain called on Roy Darby Saturday evening. Mrs. George Cloyed left Thursday for Madison Wisconsin after a few days with relatives here. John Winfield, long employed at Waukee, spent the weekend at home. Hugh Lewis and son Herbert shopped in Moravia. Mr. and Mrs. George Darby and son Donald were callers in Albia Wednesday. Zell Wilson and family visited R. C. Wilson’s with their new nine pound baby boy born Sunday morning. Virgil Johnson and Jimmie Van Dorin delivered hogs in Moravia for M. M. Darby Saturday. Dorothes Darby, recently ill, is improving. Mrs. H. D. Darby visited Rhoda Stephenson at Hocking. Elnora school program last Tuesday night drew a fine time. Henry Ford says older men are the salt of the earth. Henry is one of the older men.
