Miss Bernice Scott returns from Leroy, Tawa after a successful school term. Helen Carter visits Loyd Carter's family for a week. Main Station 1q and McDanel families spent Sunday at Shirley Townsend and at various neighbors on Chariton river. Gladfelder, Luse, McDanel and related families visited friends and relatives, with birthdays celebrated and hosts named across multiple homes.
Enon community items report attendance at Bible School and a call to improve. Halping Hand Club met with Mrs. McKay producing a Hail-Storm quilt, candy served. Several families visited, including Faber, Jones, Giltner, Hawk, and McKay households. Commencement in Moravia drew many locals, two boys Hiatt Selty and Harold Hawk graduated. Memorial Day rehearsals planned with Clelia Jones and Eslinger.
Virgie Hunter hosted relatives Sunday with a well attended basket meeting at Center. Roy Roberts preached in the morning, and a program followed in the afternoon. Walter Anawalt and his wife from Washington, D C, are visiting their parents here. Gene Tubaughs were in Albia Saturday evening. Dorothy Boardman is ill.
Lawrence Ward visited Moravia Saturday night. Mrs John Bottis and children spent the past week in Missouri visiting her parents. Mrs V Anderson of Des Moines was a weekend guest with home folks.
