Effie Gideon and Mildred Roberts spent time with G E McCumber. others visited Ezra Coltrain and Llmer Henderson. Kenneth Coltrain called on Roger Gideon. Rubye Whitehead stayed with Ardis Callen. Christian Endeavor members visited Ione Luse and had a weiner roast. Mr and Mrs Jim Cline plus others visited Vane Cline at Mystic. Luse Callen siblings attended Moravia senior play Friday. Dale Caris of Morawin spent Sunday at Theo Miller and Mrs R E Tuuse. Tone and I attended Wesley Chapel services. J R Cullen family spent Sunday at I C G Callen.
My and Mrs Ray Fletcher visited the Fletcher home over the weekend. Mr and Mrs John Herteen and family called Sunday afternoon on the Drakes. Mildred Shank visited Friday afternoon with Myrtie Proctor. G W Irelan and Clara of Moravia called Thursday afternoon at Elvin Stocker home. Isal Fletcher visited Thursday afternoon with Juanita Drake.
Hiattsville notices include Genevieve Carter visiting from Friday to Sunday at Loyd Carter’s home, Henry McDanel visiting Centerville, and Ernest Hiatt’s family at U. S. Hiatt home. Bernard Neff spent Tuesday with Alta Tucker while the Scott family visited the Edd Beer home. A four year old, Charles Burton, broke a collar bone after falling from a swing near the well curb. Burial service held for Geo W Clancy at his home led by Rev R G Rowe, with interment at Haten cemetery. The Neff family expresses community sympathy.
In-Law and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warner visited for Mother's Day while Berniece Scott and Orphan McDanel completed teaching terms in Extine school. Mr. and Mrs. Cullers of Moravia visited Hinttsville, a road improvement is underway near Pearl Hiatt and Wesley Chapel, and a Carter Store musical featured Charley Johnson, Gernie Jordan, Ralph Hixtt, Hubert Benge, Thelma Benge, and Helen Carter. The program drew over a hundred attendees who praised its quality.
