Beans last year climaxed 150 years of steady increase in the crop but the 1936 production is not expected to equal 1935. Soybeans offer higher per acre returns so acreage may stay large. Bulletin 809 from Iowa Agricultural Experiment Station gives growing details. Miss Garnet Laws of Ottumwa visited. Keith Reich of Des Moines spent Sunday with his mother. Madge DuVall of Drake University visited home folks.
