Sunday visitors included George Darby and wife with family at the Russell Darby home. George Darby and son Donald attended Baccalaureate services at Moravia Methodist Church. Furlough visitor Corp Clarence Caster from Clinton joined his parents E C Caster. Many locals attended the Moravia Baccalaureate sermon Sunday night and others welcomed guests from Ottumwa Centerville Des Moines and Detroit.

Attendance at Sunday School reached 62. Residents and guests from Gladfelder Foster Leake McDanel Weldon and others shared ice cream at several homes including Broshar Philby and Tomlin. Trips to Rock Island Milton Winterset Greenfield were noted with family visits and Red Cross meetings.
