Mrs Sarah Hiner of south of Iconium reported her son Pfe Floyd Hiner missing in action in Germany since April 2. He joined the army February 18, 1948 and served with the First Army. He was ill in a hospital in England from December 1944 to January 1945. His brother Sgt Clarence Hiner was reported missing December 1, 1944 in Belgium and later heard from in Germany at Stalag IV B.

Moravia Union Sold to Bisbys for June Possession
Announcement by Howard K. Smith states Moravia Union a newspaper and job printing plant will be sold to Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Bisby of Fairfield Iowa. Contract signed last Saturday with possession June 1. The Bisbys bring extensive Iowa newspaper experience including Fairfield Tribune printing work and ownership of several southern Iowa papers. They previously ran the Seymour Herald and Donnelson Review and owned the Richland Clarion before selling it. they have a ten year old daughter.
