Dr EB Kirschbaum, a Solingen-Wald Germany cutlery salesman with Pritz Bracht, visited Success Barber and Beauty Supply Co. in Moravia on Tuesday. He has sold razors and shears to the Johnsons since the 1950s and plans further meetings in Des Moines, Los Angeles, and Canada en route to New York and Germany.

Cub Scouts Meet at Community Building
Cub Scout Pack 40 met April 26 at the community building with Cubmaster Oliver Brownlee presiding and Deni leading the opening flag ceremony. Awards were given to Bill Mullins Jerold Ballanger and John Guthrey, with Bear badges to Jerold Ballanger Stuart McDanel and Gary McCloud. The group sang two mountain songs, performed a skit Life In the Mountains, and heard interpretations of Parade of the Mountaineers before a closing ceremony and refreshments.

Orville Smith Dies in South Dakota
Relatives learn of the death of Orville Smith, 47, at Clark Nursing Home in Clark South Dakota where he had been a patient for weeks. Funeral services tentatively set for Saturday at Naples. Survived by wife Maude Main Smith and two daughters Vera and Allegra and son Paul, plus grandchildren. A brother Francis also survives. two brothers Lester and Charles preceded him in death.

20th Century Club Meets With Mrs Ira Boyer

Theodore Murdy, 71, died Sunday night at Veterans hospital in Des Moines after a brief illness following surgery. He was born July 31, 1895 in Appanoose county and married Ruth Hedgecock in 1919.
