At about 2 00 am a lightning strike shattered the Burns residence injuring no one. Russell Burns and his son Jimmy slept through the upheaval as a bolt blasted a wall, moved a bed, and knocked out lights. Orville A. Burton aged 61 died from a heart attack suffered in Osceola on April 23 and died at Clarke County Hospital early April 30. He was born September 18, 1894, married Frances Neff in 1921, and left a wife and three children Margaret Juni and Charles.
