W E Peterson died Saturday at 9 00 p m in St Joseph hospital Cen tralized after a heart attack He was born April 2 1878 near Cordova Nebraska and moved to Lincoln in 1922 where he worked as a mechanic for Burlington for 24 years After retiring in 1948 he moved to Moravia He married Nevade Hiner on December 20 1899 Survivors include his wife three daughters Mrs Willuit Hagerman Mrs William Steffen and Miss Margaret Peterson all of Moravia one daughter in Denver Colorado five grandchildren one sister Mrs Effie Williams of Orange California four brothers Charles of Fairmont Julian and Lloyd of Exeter and Edgar of Sheridan He was preceded in death by his parents a sister and a brother Funeral services were held Tuesday February 28 at 2 00 p m at the Turner funeral home with Rev Donald Hunt officiating Interment was at Hillcrest cemetery Pallbearers named Homer Utterback Curtis Tomlin Lee Hiatt Harold Prough Fred Histt and Paul Loch Mrs George Winster and Mrs George Firkin sang.
