John Platt Succumbs To Long Illness Moravia resident dies at home
John Platt a longtime Moravia area farmer aged about seventy died at his home west of Moravia Tuesday morning after years of illness. He was born in Aurora Indiana and moved to Appanoose County as a child. Survived by his wife a daughter Fay three sisters Mia FP A Boyer Mary Platt and a brother Charles. Funeral services Thursday at 2 pm from Moravia United Brethren Church with Rev. Fred Riggs and Rev. T J Zike officiating. Interment at Fairview Main Station cemetery.
