Union Farmerettes Hold June Meeting and Demonstrations
The Union Farmerettes met at 2:00 PM on June 14, 1962, at Joanne Main’s home with 18 members present. Plans were made for a demonstration workshop on June 21 at Mrs. Joe Wilson’s home and an achievement day on June 19 at Unionville Methodist Church. Four team demonstrations were presented: hair care by Mary Jo Wilson and Jean Hawk, pleats by Lois Strunk and Joyce Roberts, seam and finish finishes by Kathy Johnson and Linda Proctor, and artificial respiration by Joanne Main and Becky Wilson. Refreshments were served to 16 members, five mothers, and five visitors by Joanne and her mother.
