Unionville Weekend Social Notes From Wapello County

Unionville residents recount weekend visits with Ottumwa and Centerville relatives. Iowa Wesleya n student Clifford Boyer returns home to spend vacation with family. Children’s Day activities and local gatherings noted

Rural route residents Helen Lippert and Ralph Elder joined a guitar duet on the Ash Grove Children’s Day program. Several local officials attended Grand Lodge events in Cedar Rapids. J H Swaim visited Centerville to see son Clyde, recovering from surgery at St Joseph’s. Numerous Sunday visits and birthdays followed, including Emma Lovell’s birthday at the Coffin home in Moravia. Children’s Day service held at M E church featured student performances and a variety of class acts.
