Obituary of Wm J DuVall Moravia Resident 82
William Jackman DuVall longtime Moravia resident died at his home after a lengthy illness. Born in Pennsylvania November 27 1848 he moved to Iowa in youth and lived near Moravia most of his life. He married Sarah Pence March 14 1872 and leaves eleven children five who died in infancy and several others including Mary Nellie and Otha Warren Harry. Funeral services were held June 1 1931 with Masonic rites and burial in Moravia cemetery. Card of thanks expressed to friends for support.

Man Dies In Hilton Auto Train Crash
Eldon man George Armentrout was killed instantly at Hilton crossing when his Dodge coupewas struck by a Wa bash freight train at 2 30 pm Monday. Witnesses say he drove onto the track despite the train being in view. The victim, about 60, appeared to be a machinist carrying tools. His body was taken to Albia.
