A note from Wm. Davis of Gerling Nebraska praises Moravia Mohawkettes star Molly and the team effort. Neighbors await progress and hope for a July 4 Moravian Davis family reunion. Speculation grows on another Moravian girls team reaching district finals and possibly the state tournament as rural girls basketball gains prominence.
The piece notes city schools forming large teams with hundreds of players and a challenge to smaller rural schools. Centerville, once dominant, left the sport for years but is rejoining as urban programs return. There is fear the sport will become a city school tournament unless divided into classes.
Brian and Stacy Weber spent an evening with grandmother Marie Weber. A blizzard left drifts here and there and swept the floor clean in places. Alice Simms visited Mike and Ruby Hedgecock on Sunday afternoon. Rex Foster of Ottumwa joined Bob Barrickman of Oskaloosa and Howard Burkland of Udell shopping in Des Moines on Saturday. Ricky Burkland spent Saturday.
Ruby Hedgecock and Gordon Jewel joined Howard Burkland and Ricky for a Monday wrestling show at the city auditorium in Des Moines. Mr and Mrs Delbert Hedgecock were callers on Mike and Ruby Hedgecock during the event.

Ernest Hiatt and Herb Boblenz guests at supper with Ernest West Saturday. Lady Ballanger and Susann Turner shopped in Des Moines Thursday. Regular visits and local outings continue among community residents including Jessie Miller and Elizabeth Anderson in Corydon.
Sunday evening with Genevie Fal Vig and Bessie Donovan included a singspiration at Selden Church. Lois and Marcia Wilson helped serve the Miktls wale Saturday with Taylorettes 4-Hers. Judy Ballanger, Tonya and Tony, Golda Hiatt were in Center ville shopping Saturday. Callers at the Wilson home were
