The Rays school music department presented Cabaret Saturday to a full gym transformed into a French themed venue. The audience described the show as simply great as performers created a professional stage atmosphere with French refreshment shops and a continuous French scene along the hall.
A vocal solo opens the program with Wilson and Sallie Avera in swing numbers by the choir and stage band. Mary Bruce acts as program master while Bill Mullins portrays Johnny on a Tonight Show spoof with Bob Schneider as Ed McMann. The event features Doc Severinsen impersonation by Larry Wilson and guests Sheri Wilson and Shelia BuVall.
