Numerous birthday anniversaries were noted for Mrs. H C Brooks, Mrs. Woodcock, and Mrs. Paris, with gatherings at the McCuen and Brain homes and open house at Monroe County Hospital. Church groups organized a World Day of Prayer program set for February 21 at the Methodist church.
