Moravia resident Merle Smith buys a ditch digger mounted on a Ford tractor to serve the community by digging water and tile ditches, building footings, and basement work. Success Barber Supply expands with a New Hampshire factory purchase to produce leather and canvas razor straps, with equipment arriving after year’s start.
