Moravia Town Council met in regular session to approve financial reports and bills totaling 28 822 96 dollars. Officers present were Mayor Rex Angel with Council members Spencer Ellison Wilson and others. proceedings include water revenue bond actions and a planned August 11 meeting to issue 520 000 in bonds.
The record notes motion by Ellison to grant permission for use of streets and facilities for a festival with ayes and carry. Wilson and Bill fon move to adjourn. Meeting adjourned by Mayor Angel Loyd N. Carter, Clark.
On September 29, 1969, town council met at 7:30 p.m. with Mayor Rex Angel presiding to review beer and cigarette permits for Club 60 owned by David L. Dyer. The body canceled permits for William G. Kauziarich dba Club 6, then approved Class B Beer and Cigarette permits for David L. Dyer dba Club 60, and recommended a Claus C Liquor License for David L. Dyer dba Club 60. Meeting adjourned with all votes in favor.

Moravia Town Council of Appanoose County Iowa will hold a meeting at 7 30 p m August 11 1969 at the Town Hall Moravia to receive bids on 52000 Water Revenue Bonds issued under Section 397 10 of the Iowa Code These bonds dated August 1 1968 will be payable solely from net earnings of the municipal waterworks and will rank on parity with existing bonds The town may call the bonds maturing 1989 1983 prior to maturity if desired The town reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The meeting minutes show bids opened and awarded to Sparky Co Des Moines Iowa with details on redemption and interest.
