Tom Robb of Iowa City was elected president of the Iowa Extension Directors Association at the annual Extension people meeting. He has 13 years in Extension Service and has worked in Marion, Washington, and Johnson counties. He was named chairman of the State Association and received a National Association of County Agricultural Agents distinguished service award. Harold Holder of Appanoose County joined the Epsilon Sigma Phi fraternity, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture awarded a ten year service pin to eligible agents.

Rev Noah Robbins Rites Held In Cincinnati Area
The Rev. Noah Robbins 76 died at 6 a.m. Thursday after a cerebral hemorrhage. Born May 18 1886 in Putnam County Missouri he lived most of his life in the Cincinnati Town community and served 43 years as a Freewill Baptist minister. He moved to Moravia November 6 his survivors include five sons two daughters a granddaughter a sister and many grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Methodist church in Cincinnati with Rev. George Hanes officiating burial at Pleasant Cemetery. We thank mourners for flowers cards and food and the Legion Auxiliary for providing the noon lunch.
