Grave Methodist Church announces Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and worship at 11:00 a.m. with evening service at 6:00 p.m. M Y F invites all youths to join, Christmas caroling plans discussed, new young adult class starts, midweek prayer 7:30 p.m. guest speaker Mrs Haste from Indo China, choir rehearsal after prayer service, church opens its doors to newcomers.
Unionville Fairview and Wesley Chapel churches announce Universal Bible Sunday with morning worship and Sunday schools across locations. Gerald L. Wilson, minister, provides services at Unionville 11:00 and Wesley Chapel 8:45, 9:45, 9:50, 10:00. Next week features Jr MYF and NYF gatherings, Christmas party caroling, and a church night with a Christmas program at 7:30.
The Church of Christ Rey led by minister W F J Evang invites worshippers to Sunday School at 9 and communion at 11 with a missionary group meeting at 7. Wednesday activities include a missionary group with Mrs Schaffer and children preparing for the Christmas program next Sunday at 10. Doyle Anderson of Moulton won top honors in Appanoose county in the 1952 National Selected Five Acre Corn Growing Contest conducted by the DeKalb Agricultural Association. His yield of 120.49 bushels per acre led the county entrants and earned a County Championship Plaque as more than 5,000 farmers from 25 states and Canada participated.
