County Board seals bids and funds bonds in 1933 session
The County Board of Supervisors met August 22 1933 in special session with eight firms bidding on road work. G L Roberts & Son Chariton Iowa won grading and R H Dixon won clearing stamps contracts. The board transferred 10000 from Local Road Construction to Secondary Road Maintenance and proposed issuing 25000 funding bonds to cover outstanding Poor Relief Fund warrants. Public notices planned for sale of bonds with bids due September 7 1933 in Centerville Iowa. The meeting adjourned after adopting the resolutions.
