Mr and Mrs Ben Coop and family and others called at Coops homes Friday visiting friends. David Coop and family left for Kansas. Mildred McAlister married Peyl Eaves of Ottumwa. Ralph Tubaugh ill and Lizzie McAlister weak. B A Faber family hosts guests from GalvaIll and Ottumwa.
Fuller and Mrs John Repp and son attended a relatives reunion west of Albia on Sunday. Boyd Runnells stayed overnight at Jess Smiths. J J Allem visited John Repp last week. Mr and Mrs Carl Cloyed and Coretta joined Sunday evening at Jess Smiths. Frank Jones made Moravia a call Saturday. John Repp Virgil Easter and Roger Gideon aided Jess Smith with his barn Monday. Earl Repp of Albia called at John Repps last Wednesday.
Mr Pleasant and the Browns visited Ottumwa to see nephew Gerald Finn in Ottumwa hospital. Multiple Moravia Albia and Chariton calls occurred Monday to Sunday with extended family visits. Several Kenton, Brown, McCrory and Clark households hosted relatives and attended the Albia fair and Fuller School events.
Franklin and Mrs. Russell Brown with children called at Roscoe Argo home Monday. Teachers from the vicinity attended a Study Center for teachers at Albia midweek. State Fair attendees included Mr. and Mrs. Earl Swift with daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Geo Shehan with children. Several visits noted among local residents at Frank Cox, Owen Conley, and John Moffatt homes. The Sidney rodeo drew Thelma Kellogg and others. Grandchildren Colleen, Betty, and Jackie LaMar stayed with grandfather A. X. LaMar last week.
Kinser Valley residents Kinser Valley Ruby Whitehead Coretta Cloyed visited Mrs Zell Wilson Monday afternoon. Hopton and son of Albia delivered lumber for a new corn crib. John Hanan Monroe corn sealer was here Tuesday. Albert Rouse checked soil conservation Tuesday. Zell Wilson hauled samba to the Albia cooperative sale Saturday and took hogs for Carl Cloyed. Gant Lincox and wife visited. Grant improving. John Johnson and family visited Zell Wilson Sunday. Wilson family spent Sunday evening with the Harry Felton home. Bert Meadows and Guss Hiatt drilled wells for George Darby and the new school house Monday. Mr G R Darby and Donald were Monday evening visitors at the Harley Smith home in Albia.

Several gatherings occurred Sunday and Monday with ice cream, birthdays, and bean chores noted among the McDanel, Tomlin, Easter, Luse, Elledge, and Tuyner households.
